Referring to the Chile of course, which we have on just about everything.

Decorate a wooden spool using Tubular peyote stitch and size 11 Delica beads (7 colors).
Along with the Spool and beads you will need: Fireline size 4 or 6 lb, Nymo Thread size B or D, size 10 or 12 beading needle and scissors or snips or Thread Burner.  

Spool Lip Thickness varies: 2 patterns included, one for Thin Lip (original) spools 48 around x 13 High, the 2nd pattern is for Thick Lip Spools 48 around x 12 High.

The spool size is 1-3/16" x 7/8" and are available at Sova-Enterprises.com.

I did stain my spools before adding the beadwork, I have also painted some spools, left 'raw' can also provide the look you want.
Display: To sit the spool as a decoration not much else is required. Hang the spools requires some findings and additional work.
