Butterfly Troides Magellanus

Price$9.00

The Magellan Birdwing (Troides Magellanus) is a butterfly found in the Philippines and on Taiwan's Orchid Island. It was first described in 1862 and named for the explorer Ferdinand Magellan who was killed in the Philippines in 1521.
This butterfly's wingspan is about 16-18 cm.
This beaded butterfly is woven of 5 colours.

The pattern includes a photo of the finished butterfly, a palette of needed toho beads and 7 graphs, from picking the first beads up to the finished piece with showing the way of the thread in each graph. The colours in each bead are numbered for easier work. Such butterfly can be used as a brooch, a hair slide, a central part of a necklace or simply as a nice souvenir.
